Putting People First: Community-led Development

Development happens in communities. It is only at the community level where people can translate their vision, voice, and self-reliant action into concrete progress in all the SDGs. Community-led development works! It works in both humanitarian response and development contexts. Long marginalized within a top-down policy environment, more and more countries are beginning to take CLD to scale to achieve inclusive and sustainable progress.

Our program will include a panel discussion from 4:00-5:30pm followed by a reception with wine and hors d'ouevres to 6:30p. Many of us will also make reservations to eat dinner together afterwards.
